According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Australian police have seized over 250 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a shipping container in Brisbane, with an estimated black market value exceeding AUD 80 million.
After receiving a tip-off regarding the shipment, Border Force officers conducted an X-ray scan of the container’s contents.
The container was declared as carrying polyethylene packaging bags. Upon inspection, it was found to contain multiple bundles of plastic bags. However, among these items, five handbags were discovered. Further examination by specialists confirmed that the handbags contained a total of 253 kilograms of cocaine.
